I think the group was quite successful because at the end students was able to make a square after overcoming many obstacles, even though it took half an hour to do so.
However,I don't think that I was successful since I didn't really make any contribution to the game, and I still did not know how people could make square even though this was my second time to play the game.
A new person to this game may feel very frustrated and hopeless as he or she does not know where to start, especially when experienced students could not speak at the beginning. I think that providing more illustration or giving some hints would let the new people play this game more easily.
At the beginning, we thought that experienced students could help the new people make a square, but the new people did not ask for other experienced students' advice, and no experienced students took the leadership until Cat gave her advice. I think that experienced students could have taken leadership role in this game, and then the inexperienced people would know how to make a square quickly.
To be honest, I am not really proud of myself because I didn't contribute to the success of this game. Maybe next time I will be able to give advice to others playing the game because now I know how to play the game.
I feel the same way that you do on the fact that it was my second time playing the game and I still don't know how to make a square and coordinate the effort to do so. I often feel it's not so much how much experience you have, but more how much charisma you have to get others to follow you.
